Step-by-Step Guide
1. Install Winamp
If you don't have Winamp installed, download it here: Winamp for Windows.
2. Download EdCast Plug-In
Download the EdCast plug-in for Winamp: EdCast Installer.
3. Prepare Installation
Install Winamp first. Close it completely before installing the EdCast plugin.
4. Install EdCast
Double-click the EdCast installer and follow the instructions.
Note: If it asks to install additional encoders or files, please accept.
5. Open Preferences
Start Winamp and press CTRL + P to open Preferences.
6. Configure EdCast
Select EdCast from the sidebar. The main configuration screen will appear.
7. Encoder Settings
Configure the encoder settings with your server details.
8. Connect and Broadcast
Click OK to return to the main EdCast screen. Select your encoder and click Connect. You are now broadcasting live!
